Interiors requiring an exacting finish often require customised lighting fixtures.
We offer customisation of a majority of our Architectural range and also provide a complete customised solution for Decorative Lighting fixtures for Hotel, Residential, Retail and Commercial projects.
We have extensive knowledge in supplying projects, particularly when cost-overruns on projects mean that value-engineered fixtures are required, without any compromise in finish, aesthetics and light distribution.
Our design team and product engineers can assist with concept and technical drawings and our procurement team has a vast network of bona fide, Grade A material suppliers – ensuring your FF&E Lighting requirements are realised within budget.
Advances in LED technology have changed the way Interiors can provide scene-setting and create unique Lighting that provide a dramatic first impression. Whether by intelligent positioning, use of various beam angles or even by colour temperature, Lighting Designers enhance any environment using techniques that often require customised fixtures.
We can modify our fixtures, to a degree. We have provided numerous projects with very specific fixtures that have been designed and specified by Lighting Designers – including downlights and Linear LED fixtures.
Contact us with your request and we will review, assess and try to accommodate. In many cases we have stock of previous models not included in our standard range, which may fit your requirements.
From concept to final product, our Decorative team can assist Interior Designers, FF&E Specifiers and, of course, Lighting Designers. We provide a range of Decorative fixtures – from an extensive catalogue of designs which have been modified to the requirements of the project in question.
We supply and source for many Hotel and Residential projects – our fixtures can be found in high-profile developments in Europe, The Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Our extensive and proven network of material suppliers (including very experienced plating factories) provide Grade A quality at very a competitive price-point, enabling the concept design to be realised cost-effectively.
From Hotel and Residential Lobbies that require statement pieces, to Suites and Living Spaces requiring smaller Chandelier and Table/Wall fixtures, we can accommodate most requests. Contact our Design Team with details of your project requirements and we’ll be glad to discuss further.
From visualisation of an initial concept through to the supply of the finished article, AKC Lighting has the requisite engineering skill in house to design, source, manage and supply bespoke fixtures for the most exacting projects.
Our design and engineering team will assist project clients to produce an end-product that is well engineered, tested and fully compliant to the necessary regulations.
From previous project experience our team can advise on the best suited materials to consider and can supply products to any required finish. Site installation requirements are also carefully considered with installation instructions provided and in selective cases fixtures can be installed with an experienced site supervisor present.
The engineering team has an extensive network of specialist material suppliers, who supply a variety of material options such as glass or plated metals.
One of our design team is happy to attend at concept stage and discuss the required design and work with the client through CGI-renders, products images and samples of materials / finishes to produce a final detailed technical drawing. Client budget and project deadline/lead time is required at an early stage, to enable the correct selection of material and also to produce to the correct dimensions.
The client approved technical drawing indicates exact dimensions, finishes to be used, estimated weight and control gear / light source data. Client sign-off of the technical drawing with written confirmation of the quotation/terms of sale will allow the order to be raised and thereafter the procurement and engineering departments to commence production.
